Lakeside Car Parks

Lakeside shopping centre is one of the largest shopping centres in the country situated in Thurrock, Essex near to the M25 Dartford Crossing. Early in 1993 the owners decided to build two multi-storey car parks since the existing car parking space had proved inadequate prior to Christmas 1992. Rees Engineering were employed on a design and build basis to design and construct steel walkways, bridges, and staircases.

Tottenham & Bennett worked in partnership with Rees Engineering on the design, with Tottenham & Bennett producing the calculations and Rees Engineering producing the drawings.
